How to check K-pop comeback times across time zones

Use the exact date, time and time zone in the artist or agency's original announcement. An album release, video premiere and livestream can have different times.

Start with the source

  1. Record the announcement URL and event type.
  2. Check whether the time is KST, JST or another zone. Do not assume a local time from an English-language post.
  3. Convert the full date and time, then check whether your result falls on the previous or next day.
  4. Recheck the original announcement before the event in case the schedule changes.

A date-specific example

For an illustrative event at 18:00 KST on 9 October 2026, the time is 18:00 in Tokyo, 17:00 in Beijing and Singapore, and 10:00 in London. This is a conversion example, not a scheduled comeback.

Seoul and Tokyo use UTC+9; Beijing and Singapore use UTC+8. London's offset changes with daylight saving. An 18:00 KST event during UK winter would be 09:00 in London. Reusing the summer conversion in winter can make you an hour late.

Keep reminders specific

Name the reminder with the artist, event type and source time. If a ticket window closes on a different date, create a separate reminder. Treat fan reposts as pointers to the original announcement, not confirmation.
